Worksop witnessed what is thought to be the most breathtaking solar eclipse in years at around 9:30am this morning (20th March 2015).

Residents gathered to watch the phenomenon, which saw the moon covering the sun by up to 90 per cent, plunging the town into darkness.

Though the sky was cloudy today, making it difficult to see the eclipse, Guardian reader Tracy Kelk, from Kiveton Park, still managed to get these incredible photographs.
